Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week - day 1 Masaba Gupta

Day One at Wills Lifestyle began with a lot of pomp and show with the unveiling the design on Tata Nano. Apart from the Tata Nano she has had the black and white season this year. She has brought a range of clothes with the regular clothes by adding some oomph to them. As a viewer I find these dresses very wearable and Indian Culture friendly.

These are my favorite looks from the show

I love this print and the college look this model has. Adding a similar belt to the bag with her clothing is an amazing thing to do.

Another college look from her wardrobe a black sweater with a white printed skirt and red bellies. I am always fond or using red color to add bling to your look. Though I would have preferred her with a bright red lip color.

This is another college look reminds me of Britney Spears or Miley Cyrus. It is a look very wearable and smart. I like the summer hues that have been used.

The all color monochrome design outfit, very formal and yet classy. I like the use of black and white with red. The red clutch changes the feel.

Tarun Tahiliani

Tarun Tahiliani just did an awesome fashion show in Hyderabad and this is what it looks like, though we all know Tarun for his aesthetic sense and visual appeal. He has mastered the art of contemporary dressing with Indian traditional style. He has been the forerunner in getting Indian designs recognized in the world.

There is not too much that I can say about this wedding lehanga, I simply adore it. The colors make it look so appropriate for an Indian wedding.

rating - 9/10

 Saffron and multi colored top with orange lehanga, a style statement for a fashion show but not a real time wedding.

rating- 7/10

  I love the work on this sari, though I find it little heavy if a petite person like me will have to carry it but it is just so awesome. I would love to dress in something like this.

rating - 9.5/10

Wills Lifestyle Manish Malhotra

Manish Malhotra has been one of my favorites and today I have brought some collections from his kitty which are not very new but personally I have liked them all. This is from his collections in the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week.

I love this black and red sari the gold and red half border that makes it look so royal. At the same time it can be worn by a woman of any age.

rating- 8.5/10

A very new style of trendy lehanga, the top does the honors for your dress, it simply adds to the elegance of the look. The colors make it look so lively on her.

rating - 8/10

And he knows how to get attention by using such a simple color combination and using a heavy blouse he has made it look ramp worthy.

LAKME FASHION WEEK WINTER/FESTIVE 2013 - SHRAVAN KUMAR

I think these LFW 2013 posts wont stop so soon, I have so much to show all of you who are sitting in front of your screen to see what I to say about these awesome creations. Trust me you all make my day, every time that I see the page views.

I have really liked the pastel especially peach and grey color combination, and he has brought it most beautifully on the ramp. Given a choice I would never mind wearing any of these outfits and truly endorsing any of these looks.

The only hitch in these styles are the shoes but never have I put so many pictures of any fashion show.

LAKME FASHION WEEK WINTER/FESTIVE 2013 - RITU KUMAR

Another marvel in the Indian fashion industry is Ritu Kumar she is famous for her creativity with colors and Indian clothes. I like the way she pairs up different looks to create one. Her creations are traditional yet modern when she uses traditional prints for maxis. She picked up actress Nargis Fakhri to be the show stopper which in my opinion was not the best choice only because she does not depict Indian skin, nonetheless they have done a great job.

This is how it looked like

I like the red lip color complementing the white lehanga, with copper border.

 I think this is the best one from this lot

LAKME FASHION WEEK WINTER/FESTIVE 2013 - SABYASACHI MUKHERJEE

Sabyasachi has crafted marvels in terms of clothes, his every single costume is worth a watch and he does it with so much Indianness. It was the indeed as haute as the climax of a bollywood tale, equally anticipated and equally enjoyable. It made people take great memories from this show, make good friends and gave us a visual treat.

Lets cut down on the commentary and see what it was like

PCJ DELHI COUTURE WEEK 2013 - MANISH ARORA

His is the most eccentric collection that I see with bold use of colors and patterns, I have never seen something more different and creative in clothes as Manish Arora's style. I can't recommend on how many people are going to buy these but I would say he has a long way to go in the industry. See the kind of ambiance he has created.

I really like the green and pink lehanga if paired with a pink or a blue dupatta can make it perfect for a wedding attire.

rating - 8.5/10

Cover it with red dupatta and endorse it to any ocassion you like, and you will be the talk of the town. This colors complements Indian skin very well.

rating- 9/10

I like all these outfits but I think they will complement fair wheatish and fair complexion.

I love the work on the skirt and the colors used, it can make any girl look grand with some Rajasthani traditional jewellery

LAKME FASHION WEEK - VIKRAM PHADNIS

Lakme Fashion Week 2013 has some of the most awesome creations by great designers. Vikram Phadnis is surely one of them, his designs are grand and always have a sense of style in them in which even color or outfit.

For this event he stuck mostly to gold and whites making it look very surreal and stylish at the same time.

LEHANGA BY ANITA DONGRE

The other day when I was reading about Wedding Fashion Designers I read about Anita Dongre's collection and I thought it would be best to get it for all of you here.
Every designer has his own style and sense of colors I found her choice of colors very different and soft yet classy. Here is what I have for you

I love this pink but personally I would not settle for colors that are so light but somehow she has managed to capture my eyes

Rating - 8/10

I like such wedding colors orange and red, the best part is the blue thin border that she has put which has added to the getup of this outfit.

Silver gota pati work on a white ensemble very rare and classy, I love the royal look that it shows.

I went to the Lakme Fashion Week list 2013 to bring you something new from the album something that has style and yet it is not common, I feel the use of yellow and black has been awesome by Archana Kochchar.
