Get this look - Kangana Ranaut

Very recently this was Kangana Ranaut's look for the launch of a Bollywood Magazine. She went bold with her red cleavage flattering dress but she kept minimal make up. Her hair was also neatly tied up in a bun and there was hardly any jewelry that she wore. It indeed was a lesson for all of us to try it out. Only to show that the simple look can be equally attractive.

NAUGHTY @ 50

Sridevi celebrated her 50th birthday with a huge party in Mumbai last week, it was attended by all the glitterati from bollywood and outside. It was a successful event and indeed Sridevi still managed to look naughty at 50.

VIDYA BALAN AT CANNES

Recently Vidya Balan was selected for the Cannes Film Festival Jury and she chose to wear all of Sabyasachi Mukherjee designs and here is the look.

Vidya Balan wears very bold colors but somehow it does not look as attractive to me. The skirt looks fairly well but the top is too plain. I also felt she could have carried a little more make up on her face to add bling to this look

I have personally appreciated the designs of Neeta Lulla and I like the way she plays with colors. Today you will get to see her designs through my eyes. I will put up the best that like from her bridal collection.

Prachi Desai looks stunning in her Indian avatar. The red and gold is a typical bridal package for us Indians. I love the way the dress has an anarkali feel to it at the same time this looks more royal than a suit. The earrings complement her look very well without using any other jewelry.

I have loved this stitched sari. The colors pink and gold make the outfit look so simple and so sexy. I love the way the palloo is draped around to give a sari look and there she stands wearing a fish cut bottom with a dull gold blouse. Simply Awesome

This magenta and gold ensemble is apt for the women who love to flaunt. It is a little gaudy by my standards but not according to the Big Fat Indian wedding that we indulge in. I liked the heavy blouse that adds to the bridal look.

Eyes are the most beautiful and delicate part of our face. Enhancing your eyes is very important.You can do it by applying makeup with right technique.Its is essential to use the right kind of base while using eye shadow or other kind of makeup.


Few basic steps which should be kept in mind while applying eye shadow-

First step- apply liquid concealer or dab foundation on the top of your eye ,you can also use shadow primer on your eye lid .This helps in retaining the eye make up .You can apply it with makeup sponge or clean fingers.

Second step-prefer applying a neutral shade that suits your skin type.You can use colors such as peach or light brown .This would act as a good base, apply this base properly as it would help you to retain your makeup.

Third step-choose a color that suits your skin tone.Apply darker shades of the basic color.This is the color that would be main color,prominent color.If you want to use more than one color,then apply the lightest one first and keep the darker for end .We always move from light to dark. Do not extend the shadow upwards instead apply it on your tear duct.Use soft,gentle strokes of the brush. Do not rub it but apply it effectively,apply more eye shadow it will last for more hours.

Fourth step-You can apply a liner or mascara but be careful that it does not touches your eye shadow.
