After yesterday's post on IIJW I want to share a few jewellery looks on western outfits and trendy dresses, we can't just stick to traditional Indian clothes but also we have to look at the other side of the mirror and her are my picks for the jewellery to be worn with western dresses.

This flower shaped neck piece studded with diamonds in platinum can be a very good choice for a bride to be who wants to invest in a classy jewel yet maintain its style with all the kind of clothes she wears.

A pair of earrings can say it all, with some clothes you don't even need to highlight your neckline, once you are done with the heavy earrings, you are just sorted.

Another very classy look with a red bridal outfit and silver jewellery, we usually pair up gold with red but here I see how well silver, pearl and diamond is used to make her look divine.

IIJW AUGUST 2013 -1

IIJW was held a few days ago in Mumbai. I have my favorites from the event, since it was not a clothes event my focus is totally on the jewelry and the kind of costumes or themes its paired up with.
I personally would like to own them all and get them sparkling on my body, have a look and decide for yourself.

I love how these jewels are placed against red clothes which makes it looks bridal and still not over the top. I love the use of the Mang tika to enhance the look and make cover a wide forehead easily.

Rating - 9/10

These tele actresses show a very regular line of clothes and jewellery which can be endorsed by any woman in her day to day outings. I think they have the most usable pieces of jewellery

Another look that has style, class and fashion. I loved the ensemble for its work and colors and then the jewellery which is so traditional yet modern at the same time.

INTERNATIONAL JEWELRY WEEK 2013

International Jewellery Week 2013 which was held in Delhi last week brought the who's who to the fashion event. The event was a huge success with models and actors walking down the ramp in the latest jewellery designs by the designers.

My favorite picks from this event are

The bridal set with necklace and rani haar looks perfect for a bride to be. The work has a very ethnic look and the stones add to the outfit of a woman.

Rating - 7/10

I love how chunk jewellery has made its way to the mainstream jewellery. The colored neck piece and the bracelet create a statement by itself. Though personally I feel this piece is getting over shadowed by the dress.

Rating - 8/10

I have totally loved this Jadau neck piece. The colors used will mostly complement every single attire and will flatter the body. I really like the colors used in this picture as well with beige and rust.

Rating - 9/10
