PCJ DELHI COUTURE WEEK 2013 - MASABA GUPTA

For somebody as new as her she has been able to carve a niche for herself and be as popular as can be, I personally love her style and the melange of her collections with equal ease. I am always in favor of designers who create clothes that are easier for people to wear, they don't have clothes only for the ramp and Masaba Gupta is surely one of them. The theme for this collection was Xray

My picks from PCJ Couture week

I like the yellow with gold jewellery and the flowy gown makes it look way more girly.

rating - 8/10

This again has the femininity and class in itself, but for me I would have liked a more traditional heavy jewellery with this look

rating - 8/10

Red and black seem to be an eternal combination and that too with flowers, this is a great design for people with petite bodies to make them look larger.

rating - 8.5/10

I feel this is the best design and jewellery that they have created you can see everything complementing each other, the jewels just blend in with the dress

ROCKY S BRIDAL COLLECTION

Today we focus on Rocky S style and bridal collection, for this wedding season you can gear up to get reviews from us. Each of these posts will show you insight to a few designs.

My personal picks from his collections

Bipasha looks splendid in this outfit. I typically love the red and blue color shades which have been used. Most of the times the drape of the Sari changes the look, the double drape adds to the style. It has a medium border to make it decorative but at the same time it does not look garish.

Rating - 8/10

This red and blue Sari looks so smart and so wearable, it brings out the best in any girl. I think this is a must have in any color for every woman who loves wearing a Sari. It is apt for any occasion.

Rating - 9/10

The red and gold combination is a must have for every girl. I like both the drapes and they are unique in their own way. Once you are the bride yourself you should take the second look but being the bridesmaid you can try any drape and make it look sexy

Getting Rid of Skin Tan

Skin Tanning is one of the biggest worries of Modern life. Whatever your age is you want get rid of the tanned marks that you get on your skin after going out in the sun. Today, the problem with most women is that they are working and they cannot avoid going out. Also with the busy schedules and tough life maintaining the skin becomes an issue especially when we live in a country where we have a very long summer season.

Here is a very effective way removing skin tan from your body

Khatta Dahi

Khatta Dahi (Sour Curd) this is a form of curd that gets sour over time due to heat. You could also keep the curd in direct sunlight so that it gets sour and takes this form

How to use

Ingredients
  • a glass bowl
  • sour curd
  • a light cotton cloth
  • a loofah

Method

Strain the curd with the help of the light cotton cloth. Now you will get a semi solid curd. Dry your body and soak the loofah in the curd. With the help of the loofah gently scrub the curd on your body. Remember to put more amount of curd on hands and do not use a loofah for your face you might damage the skin. After you have put the curd let it rest for 10 mins. Then wash it with water and avoid using soap for best results but if you don't like the curd smell use your regular soap and you will get away with it easily. Pat yourself dry.

With a regular use of curd you will notice even very old tan marks fade away from your skin.

Bipasha Basu in Lakme Fashion Week 2013

Bipasha basu in Lakme Fashion Week 2013,  dressed in what I would call a Victorian Era Saari. She looked exceptional with the kid of Aura she created. She looks absolutely stunning and sophisticated in this avatar but I would have preferred a color little darker than what she wore here. A peach or a hint of pink could have complemented her bong skin a lot more. Similarly this saari would be a perfect choice for the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan skin family.

Though I still totally love the collared look with her blouse and indeed it changes the whole appearance of the Indian Attire.

This kind of a blouse I think is a must try for you if you want to add little western tadka to your Indian look. Even as a bride you can look like a very modern Indian bahu.
